Date Rape
If accused of a Sex Crime against an adult, then the same standards for the suspicion, accusation and charge apply as with any other sex crime charge; however, in the event of an adult accusation, other procedures can come into play such as testing for sample of DNA found on or in the accuser that could match the accused. There may also be witnesses, if not to the alleged act, then of events immediately before or after the alleged act was said to occur. Other considerations also surface, e.g. is there evidence of Rohypnol, Ketamine, Gamma Hydroxubutyrate, or one of the other "Date Rape" drugs in common use today, in the person's body or the drink they were having, were there any signs of a struggle. If so, what signs? What were the specific circumstances that led up to the alleged "Sexual or Aggravated Assault".
